We all like to hearken back to our youth, when times were simpler and days and nights were spent playing games. Of course video and arcade games and computers were decades away when pinball and vending machines were the rage among our children. How many hours were spent passing by those summer days in front of a pinball machine or at the five and dime store trying to score a Mickey Mantle or Joe DiMaggio Exhibit card.

MEARS On-Line Auctions is pleased to offer the following arcade and table top treasures, most related to the game of baseball. The majority are from the 1940s and '50s. Many are in working order or were remedied back to life. Dimensions are listed on each. Shipping will be substantial on some given the heavy volume associated.

We all know the perils of gambling. Baseball had the seams of the game ripped apart during the 1919 Black Sox scandal. Pete Rose further soiled the game when he bet on baseball games. Check out the original headboard instructions for the offered Play Ball How Many Runs Can You Score? game which unequivocally states - No Gambling Permitted on This Machine.

This treasure measures 36" x 16" x 10". The wood playing surface is in remarkable condition and a rotating diamond appears on front for advancement of bases.

The coin slot appears to work.
