2011 (August 22) Sammy Sosa Chicago Cubs Signed & Inscribed Three Homer Game Worn Home Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a Chicago Cubs home jersey which was donned by prolific slugger Sammy Sosa on August 22, 2011. The Cubs would prevail by a score of 16-3 over the Brewers that day at Wrigley Field with Sosa knocking three home runs out of the park in the process. Majestic MLB Authentic Collection tag sewn to tail with "8 22 01 SS" written on the tag in blue marker and a size 48 flag tag also present. A circular Cubs logo is sewn to the front of the jersey while "Sosa" and uniform number 21 are sewn to the reverse of the blue pinstriped white knit jersey in blue on red double tackle twill. Rounding out the jersey are a Captain's "C" sewn on the right sleeve and a Cubbie Bear patch on the left sleeve. Sosa has also signed the reverse of the jersey in silver marker along with an inscription reading "HR 433 HR 434 HR 435 8-22-2001 Game Used 2001" with a Sosa hologram appplied to verify the authenticity.
