When Mark McGwire was wearing this style of jersey, he was cementing his claim as one of the most powerful men to appear on a baseball diamond.

McGwire signed the front and inscribed "2000" as well. All of the identifiers are sewn on in two-color tackle twill. The team script on front is woven in the team's signature chenille threads.
