Offered are a pair of San Diego Padres uniform pants which were worn by Tony Gwynn when he collected the 2,994th hit of his Hall of Fame career during a 10-3 victory over the Houston Astros on August 1, 1993 at Qualcomm Stadium. Russell Athletic size 39 tag sewn in waist with a strip reading "19 39-41-30-98" while Gwynn has also signed the waistband in blue marker. "2994 9/1/99 vs. Hous" handwritten on supplemental tagging with the month misprinted as 9 instead of the correct 8. Light wear shown. (84L1070)
