1999 Wade Boggs Tampa Bay Devil Rays Signed Game Worn Road Jersey (MEARS A10 / Boggs LOA/JSA) Final/3,000th Hit Season

Offered is a Tampa Bay Devil Rays road jersey which was donned by Wade Boggs during the final season of his Hall of Fame career in 1999. Coming to the plate 334 times during his age 41 season, Boggs still managed a .301 batting average with more walks than strikeouts and achieved a rare milestone by notching his 3,000th career hit, a 6th inning home run off of the Cleveland Indians Chris Haney on August 7th at Tropicana Field.

Russell Athletic Authentic Diamond Collection size 48 tag sewn to the tail along with a 2" extra length flag tag. Team name and number are sewn directly to the jersey while the name is sewn to the jersey via nameplate. A franchise logo patch is also present on the left sleeve. In addition, Boggs has signed the jersey in blue marker along with an inscription reading "99 Game Used Devil Rays 3,000 Hit Season". Light to moderate use shown.
