Offered is a New York Mets batting helmet which was donned by Damion Easley during the final game at Shea Stadium on September 28, 2008. With the two outs in the bottom of the ninth & the Mets trailing by two runs Easley had a chance to put his name in the books as the last batter to make an out at Shea, but instead he worked a 6 pitch walk off of Marlins reliever Matt Lindstrom bringing Ryan Church to the plate representing the tying run. Church would fly out to center field for the final out at Shea, leaving Easley standing as the final baserunner in the stadium's history. MLB Hologram BB916922 applied to reverse of helmet with a COA from Mets Amazin Memorabilia also attending. Light wear shown. (86N0566, 74)
