The Green Bay Packers were downright stingy with their game worn memorabilia when then were Super Bowl contenders in the mid '90s.
Their game worn wares are a treasured commodity among game worn collectors. Offered is the first game worn Super Bowl XXXII helmet we have encountered. This headgear was worn by backup wide receiver Terry Mickens during the regular season through the playoffs. Mickens was an NFL receiver from 1994 through '97.
This is the very helmet Mickens wore during Super Bowl XXXII and during the season. Worth special mention are the three stickers on the back bumper. A Super Bowl XXXII sticker is apparent. The Riddell back bumper is covering up the following decals: Packers, typical team decal, special Riddell decal with a Packers logo used exclusively for the playoffs and a Super Bowl XXXII special decal worn by the Super Bowl participants.
The helmet has a few contact marks from use. A MEARS Authentic hologram (311573) rests on the inner ear hole. A circular "85" decal is affixed on the right inner ear hole. Riddell AF-2 padding is secured on the inside. High chinstrap hookups are also present. The original chinstrap also appears.
Mickens signed the front in black felt tip.
Overall a glorious helmet, linked to the Packers Super Bowl XXXII game no less.
