The Lakers have been a hotbed for big men. When the team was in Minneapolis George Mikan assumed the role of center. Then it was Wilt Chamberlain followed by Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
In the mid '90s Shaquille O'Neal took the reins. From Shaq's first year in L.A. is this game worn size "22" left shoe. An LOA will attend which states this was given to a man who built Shaq a Harley Davidson. According to the LOA: "The signed shoe was given to me after Shaq went to the Lakers.
The shoe was worn in the first game he played against the Washington Bullets after he became a laker."
The shoe shows decent over all use. Also included is a sock worn by The Diesel. O'Neal signed the shoe, but the autograph is fading.
