Lot #2033:

1995 Mike Stanley Game Worn Signed New York Yankees Authentic Cap - JSA

During his 16-year career, catcher and first baseman Mike Stanley spent time with the Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays. Though he strung together a handful of good seasons, Stanley received the most recognition as a Yankee in 1995, his lone All-Star season.

The cap offered in this lot comes from the veteran's prosperous '95 campaign. The fitted (size 7 5/8) New Era Yankees cap features Stanley's signature in black Sharpie, along with his number (20) and "ALL-STAR '95" on the under side of the brim. With slight sweatstains, this item shows minimal use. JSA Auction Letter and MEARS Auction LOA included. C0261
