Offered is a professional model Michael Jordan Louisville Slugger dating to his 1994 summer as a minor league baseball player with the Birmingham Barons and Scottsdale Scorpions. Model C271 stamped on barrel while Jordan's uniform number 45 is written in silver marker on the knob. Jordan has also signed the barrel in silver marker. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 32 ounces and shows solid, moderate use with scattered barrel markings including a clear transfer from an Avis Arizona Fall League baseball. Also, clear evidence of the batting practice doughnut. Handle remains uncracked. Bat was originally obtained via a Ronald McDonald House Charities auction with accompanying paperwork also attending. As a side note, our consignor signed Michael Jordan to his first, regional sponsorship with McDonalds. Our consignor was quite impressed with Jordan, and because of his growing admiration, made sure he was the winning bidder of this bat. Because of the rock solid provenance, visible Avis Arizona Fall League baseball mark, doughnut ring mark, and rock solid Ronald McDonald house provenance, it is our opinion this is the finest Michael Jordan bat to have ever entered the market. Final Grade (MEARS A9): 5 points base grade, 2 points use, 2 points for rock solid provenance. (86N0487)
