1991-93 Hensley "Bam Bam" Meulens New York Yankees Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Offered for auction in this lot is a Hensley "Bam Bam" Meulens professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his time with the New York Yankees in the early 1990's. Model number T141 is stamped on the barrel along with Meulens and New York Yankees in block letters. Uniform number 39 is written on the knob, which was worn by outfielder Roberto Kelly during the 1991 & 1992 seasons, indicating likely use as a two player bat.

This ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks, a heavy application of pine tar and a 4" handle crack.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
