1990 Dale Murphy Atlanta Braves/Philadelphia Phillies Autographed Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A9)

Featured in this lot is an autographed Dale Murphy professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his 1990 campaign which saw him traded from the Atlanta Braves to the Philadelphia Phillies. Model B310 is stamped on the signature model barrel while Murphy's uniform number 3 is written in black marker on the knob. The Murph has also signed the barrel in black marker with the inscription "Game Used Bat."

This flame treated ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a round barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, a medium application of pine tar and a 7" handle crack which has been repaired with an application of handle tape.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use, 2 points for provenance/player use traits and loses 1 point for the handle crack/tape resulting in a final grade of MEARS A9.
