1989-90 John Bagley Boston Celtics Signed Training Camp Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a Boston Celtics jersey dating to circa John Bagley's 1989-90 season with the team. Wilson size 44 tag sewn to tail while "Celtics", number 5 and "Bagley" are also sewn to the white mesh jersey. Bagley has also signed the jersey in black marker. During this time frame Sand Knit supplied the Celtics with their regular season jerseys. Original consignor was told at the time of the acquisition that the jersey was used during preseason training camps, which may explain the Wilson tagging. Jersey originated from the personal collection of Ed Borash, a Boston area printer that supplied the team. Mr. Borash maintained several long term relationships with many Celtics and NBA players.
