Offered is a Chicago Bears home jersey dating to circa Walter Payton's final 1987 season with the team. Wilson size 44 tag sewn to tail while number 34 is screened to the front, back and sleeves of the navy mesh jersey along with a "W. Payton" nameplate sewn to the reverse & "GSH" applique on the left sleeve. 1987 was the only season during Walter's tenure when the Bears had a second Payton on the roster (backup QB Sean), though available game images from 1987 still show Walter wearing a "Payton" nameplate without the "W" initial found on this example.
