Lot #1753:

1987 Kirby Puckett Minnesota Twins Game Worn Cleats From World Series Season (MEARS LOA)

To Minnesotans, 1987 was a magical season. The Twinkies, yes the team which was stuck in neutral, for much of the 1980s won the World Series.

In one of the most spirited Fall Classics to date, Kirby Puckett and thousands of Homer Hanky toting fans were tasting championship champagne after Game 7.

Puckett wore these size "9" Nike cleats during the 1987 campaign. "34" is written on the heel in black marker on both. "9 871112THPS" is stamped on the inside of both which denotes the size "9" and year "87".

Both shoes show outstanding use and has dirt remnants on the bottoms.
