Offered is a Minnesota Twins batting helmet dating to Hall of Fame center fielder Kirby Puckett's tenure with the team circa the 1987-91. Number 34 decals applied to the brim of the Rawlings manufactured helmet. Examination of the 34 reveals many, many games possibly seasons worth of use and crud. MLB logo decal and additional 34 decal are applied to the reverse which also show optimal wear. Heavy use shown overall. This helmet originated from a clubhouse attendant of the Milwaukee Brewers. It was gifted to the clubhouse kid personally by Kirby Puckett, then immediately sold to MEARS president Troy R. Kinunen. It has remained part of his personal inventory ever since. First time publicly offered. LOA from Troy R. Kinunen and MEARS. (71Y0269)
