1987-89 David Cone New York Mets Autographed Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A8.5)

Featured is an autographed David Cone professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his time spent with the New York Mets in the late 1980's. Model number C271 is stamped on the barrel along with Cone in block letters while David's uniform number 44 is written on both ends of the bat in black marker.

This ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and cupped barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks and a 14" section of dead wood missing from the reverse of the barrel.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use, 2 points for player use traits and loses 1.5 points for the dead wood missing from the reverse of the barrel resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.5.
