Larry Bird made his mark as a great basketball player in the mid-1980's. Some of those performances happened in the classic Converse weapon. Offered is a circa 1986-90 Converse Weapon that was worn by Bird and also autographed in black ink. The shoe shows significant use throughout. In the heyday of the shoe, Bird's Boston Celtics made the NBA Finals twice (1985-86, 86-87) and the Celtics won in 1985-86 with Bird bringing home the NBA Finals MVP honors. Bird also was a three-time NBA MVP from 1984-86. LOA MEARS (54H0043)
