Featured in this lot is a Dale Sveum professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers in the late 1980's. Model number S336 is stamped on the signature model barrel while Sveum's uniform number 7 is written on the knob in silver sharpie.
This black ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a cupped barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks and a heavy concentration of dead wood on the front of the barrel.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use, 2 points for player use traits and loses 1 point for the dead wood resulting in a final grade of MEARS A9.
