1985 George Hendrick California Angels Game Worn Road Jersey (MEARS A9)

Offered for sale is a 1985 George Hendrick California Angels road pullover jersey worn during the 1985 season.

Wm. Goodman & Sons company was the correct supplier for 1985 road jerseys, as they continued to supply the team until Rawlings took over in 1987.

The style is correct for 1985 as evidenced by the California state patch on the left sleeve, and the outline of the missing 25th Anniversary team patch on the right.

Size 42 is correct for George Hendrick.

The shirt is all original with no alterations except it is missing the silver anniversary patch on the right sleeve but outline of patch is still visible. Jersey shows moderate game wear. Hendrick was traded to the Angels in August of 1985 from Pittsburgh so he would only have worn this shirt for a little over a month which explains the stellar condition. Grades a MEARS A9 with one point deducted for missing patch.
