Lot #47:

1984 San Diego Padres Lineup Card w/Tony Gwynn Listed As Extra During World Series Season

This keepsake will comfortably fit into any die-hard Tony Gwynn collector's hands. From the early portion of his days with the Padres is this 6 1/4" x 11" scorecard used during Spring Training of 1984. This would be special as the Padres advanced to their first World Series.

Athletic tape is still present on the upper and lowermost portions. Gwynn is listed as an extra and "3-13" is written on the upper right corner in black marker. Numerous names are blacked out (including Steve Garvey's) as would be customary for a Spring Training contest.
