Wide receivers constantly developed alligator arms when Scott Case was looming. The Atlanta Falcons were in good hands with Case in the secondary.
The hard-hitting safety was given a Pro Bowl nod in 1988.
Circa 1984-86 is this game used helmet. We had deduced the vintage because of the helmet decals on back, incorporated during this time period. In 1988 the team didn't have numeric decals on the back of their helmets.
Deep helmet gouges appear on the red shell. Falcon decals accentuate the sides and white/black/white stripes run from front to back.
"25" is decaled (some peeling on 5) on back as well as a transparent warning sticker. The inside features a blue bladder system, "25" on the inner ear hole and an inventory number hand written. Case signed the helmet and inscribed "All Pro 88" as well.
Employed by the Green Bay Packers from 1984-2000, Scott Waters had on field access for each game, and mingled along the sidelines with the players. Several candid photos document his presence on the field. This lot originated directly from the Scott Waters collection. Detailed LOA’s personally signed by Scott Waters will be included with each item from his collection. Letters of authenticity: Scott Waters & MEARS / Troy Kinunen
