Michael Jordan turned basketball into the "in" thing in mid '80s and '90s. While Magic and Bird are usually credited with saving the NBA, it was Jordan who took it to an entirely unprecedented level.

Although Jordan's name or uniform number doesn't appear on this jacket, the jacket was represented as a "game worn" Michael Jordan jacket when it was first sold via a charity auction circa 1986-87. No letter of authenticity was issued. During the time period this was worn, the Bulls did not identify a player and there is no "23" written anywhere. What we can tell you is this was donned for the majority of a season given the extensive wash wear associated.

The white jacket has turned a pinkish hue from launderings administered. All of the identifiers are heat pressed. Located on the inner button path is a Sand Knit size "44" tag (MEARS labeling period 1985-90) and Bulls exclusivity with a "2" LB" swatch also present.

"CHICAGO" is visible on front while a team emblem decorates the reverse.

The cherry on top is a vintage Jordan signed full size Official NBA basketball. A full name penning makes this oversized sphere a keeper.
