Basketball cards took a little hiatus after Topps stopped producing cards following the 1981-82 season. That was until Star cards burst onto the scene.
Michael Jordan's rise to the top helped make Star cards chic.
Offered is the holy grail of Star cards, the decorated 1984-85 Chicago Bulls set with Jordan featured on front. The team set is still in its original packaging and has never been opened. The Jordan card appears NM with light wear on the lower right corner.
According to one basketball card guide, as few as 4,000 sets were produced of this set. While the debate will go on from now until the end of time as to whether this is Jordan's rookie or not, this is Michael Jordan's first Bulls licensed card.
