Offered is a 3.25" onsite pinback button reading "New Orleans Welcomes 1982 NCAA Final Four". It began on March 11, 1982, and ended with the championship game on March 29 in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. A total of 47 games were played. North Carolina, coached by Dean Smith, won the national title with a 63–62 victory in the final game over Georgetown, coached by John Thompson. Michael Jordan fires the game-winning shot in the final seconds against Georgetown in the championship game of the NCAA tournament in New Orleans on March 29, 1982 (64N0156)
