1982 Darrel Porter St. Louis Cardinals Autographed Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A10)

Offered for auction in this lot is an autographed Darrel Porter professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his 1982 World Series MVP campaign with the St. Louis Cardinals. Model number K55 is stamped on the signature model barrel while Porter's uniform number 15 is written in black marker on the knob. Porter has also signed the barrel in silver and has added the inscription "1982 Cards, Proverbs 3:5-6, .231 BA, 12 HRs, 4x All Star, 82 W.S. M.V.P." which remains in near mint condition.

This Gwynn finished ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a cupped barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks, handle tape and a lite 3" handle crack.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use and 2 points for player use traits resulting in a final grade of MEARS A10.
