1982-84 Rod Carew California Angels Signed Goodman & Sons Salesman Sample Home Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a California Angels home jersey which has been signed in black marker by Hall of Famer Rod Carew along with an inscription reading "To Larry Best Wishes". Goodman & Sons size 42 tag sewn to tail of jersey while "Angels", "Carew" and uniform number 29 are sewn to the white knit pullover in red on navy double tackle twill. A California state logo patch is also sewn to the left sleeve. Given the on field quality construction and the fact that Goodman & Sons provided the Angels road jerseys during this time frame (Wilson provided the team's home jerseys) we believe this to be a salesman sample. Some discoloration to reverse of jersey. (64R0256)
