1981 circa Reggie Jackson New York Yankees Game Worn Spalding Cleats (MEARS LOA)

Offered are a pair of Spalding baseball cleats which were donned by Hall of Fame New York Yankees slugger Reggie Jackson at the outset of the 1980's. Reggie's uniform number 44 is written on the inside and outside white striping of each shoe as well as on the rear of the left shoe. Spalding manufacturer tag sewn to tongue of each shoe while the interior features a matching Spalding insole. Left shoe is stamped as a size 10 1/2 while the right shoe is stamped as a size 10. Heavy use evident with dirt caking and field remnants present. Photocopy of letter from Lou Saban's secretary will accompany detailing the provenance of the shoes. (G0501)
