This is a 1981 Rollie Fingers Milwaukee Brewers Game Used Home Uniform. The uniform comes with both a home jersey and home pants, that Fingers wore during the 1981 season in which he won not only the Cy Young Award, but also the American League MVP Award.

This jersey exhibits heavy use with some light staining present near the strip and manufacturer's tag. The strip tag is present on the outside tail above the proper Sandknit/Medalist manufacturer's and exclusive tagging, which reads "81 Fingers 44". Jersey has been autographed in blue marker by Fingers on the front of the jersey along with a 'HOF 92' inscription. Pants have been autographed in black marker by Fingers on the waistband along with a 'HOF 92' inscription. Pants exhibits light wear with faint scattered stains, which do not detract from the desirability.

This jersey and pant combination were on display at the World Series Wisconsin exhibit at the Wisconsin Historical Society Museum in Madison, Wisconsin from July 17, 2007 through January 15, 2008.

Fingers had a stellar season in 1981 when he appeared in 47 games, 41 of which he finished out. During this season, he pitched 78.0 innings, recorded 28 saves, and gave up only 9 earned runs throughout the entire season to record a 1.04 ERA on the entire season. Fingers was also an integral part of the 1982 Brewers squad, which won the 1983 American League Championship on it's first visit to the MLB playoffs ever as an organization. A few year after Fingers retired he, along with his trademark handle bar mustache, were enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.

This jersey grades out at the MEARS A10 grade with ten points for the base grade and no point deductions. The pants also comes with a MEARS Letter of Opinion, which grade the pants out at MEARS AUTHENTIC grade, the highest grade possible.
