1981 Mike Krukow Game Worn Cubs Jersey (MEARS Auction LOA)

Mike Krukow was a pitcher who parlayed his on-field success to a job in the broadcast booth. From 1981 is the home jersey Krukow wore during his final season in Chicago.

Wonderful season-long use is shown on the pullover with sun fading on the reverse numbers and staining on the back. The left sleeve contains a Cubs team patch.

Sewn in the collar is a "39 81 1 44" which denotes player number/year/set number and size. Barely hanging on is a Wilson size tag. The tail features a lone "81" year swatch.
