1981 Chris Welsh New York Yankees Spring Training Worn Road Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a New York Yankees road jersey which was donned by southpaw hurler Chris Welsh during spring training of 1981. However, Welsh was traded on March 31st along with three other players to the San Diego Padres and never suited up for the Yankees in a regular season game. Wilson size 44 tag sewn to tail while a strip reading "Welsh 81 2" is sewn in the collar. "New York" and number 62 sewn to jersey in navy on white double tackle twill. Light to moderate use shown.
