Offered is a Chris Welsh game worn road jersey from his time with the New York Yankees during Spring Training of 1981. Welsh was traded with three other players to the Padres on March 31, however, never appearing in a regular season game with the Yankees. Wilson size 44 tag sewn to tail while a strip reading "Welsh 81 2" is sewn in the collar. Team name and number sewn to jersey in navy on white double tackle twill. Elston Howard memorial armband was once present on left sleeve though it has been removed from the jersey. Moderate use shown. (G0431)
