1980s Sterling Sharpe Green Bay Packers Game Worn Sideline Jacket - MEARS LOA

Sterling Sharpe played on some woeful teams and was Brett Favre's first true threat. Imagine if he had never suffered a debilitating career-ending neck injury? The Hall of Fame would surely be his final football resting place.

This size "XL" Starter jacket was worn by Sharpe in the 1980s when he was on the sidelines. According to our consignor, this was originally offered at a local Green Bay charity auction but we have no paperwork supporting such a claim.

The oversized jacket has custom elongated pockets. Green/white/green/yellow striping encircles the neckline, sleeve ends and tail. Sewn in the collar is a Starter size "XL" label and "84" written on a swatch. Another Starter identification tag is found in the inner tail.
