1980s Johnnie Gray Green Bay Packers Game Worn Cleats (Scott Waters/MEARS LOA/JSA)

Johnnie Gray put heavy use into these shoes when he controlled the secondary for the Packers. Imagine how many thefts or receivers were de-cleated while Gray wore these very kicks.

Both shoes show moderate to heavy use. "24" is written on the insides in vintage marker. Gray signed both in blue felt tip ink as well.

Employed by the Green Bay Packers from 1984-2000, Scott Waters had on field access for each game, and mingled along the sidelines with the players. Several candid photos document his presence on the field. This lot originated directly from the Scott Waters collection.
