1980s Baylor University Game Used Helmet (MEARS Auction LOA)

Baylor University has housed some imposing gridiron teams through the years. From the mid to late '80s is this game used helmet.

Each of the helmet clips read "87" so we are safe in assuming it was used during that time period. "BU" is revealed underneath the clear shell on both sides. The inside padding has been removed. "7" and "59" (subsequently scribled out) are found on the inner right ear hole. A MaxPro "XXX-Large 8- 8 1/8" sticker is found near the writing as well. NocSae Super Pro, Max Pro and warning labels are found on back. Moderate to heavy use is exhibited.
