Ray Nitschke was a signature member of Vince Lombardi's dominating football teams of the 1960s.
This ONFL (Rozelle) ball was game used and has "SAINTS" spaced across the white laces. The ball shows use. One theory is the ball was used in 1989 when the Saints descended upon Lambeau Field and dropped a 35-34 Packer thriller. While we can't definitively say it was used in the offensive explosion, the ball was used by the Saints in an NFL game.
Nitschke signed this ball on an entire side panel in silver paint pen and includes "#66 H.o.f. 1978" as well.
