1980's Kevin McHale Boston Celtics Signed Home Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a Boston Celtics home jersey dating to Kevin McHale's tenure with the team in the early 1980's. Wilson size 46 & 3 inch x-length tags sewn to tail while "Celtics", number 34 and "McHale" are also sewn to the white mesh jersey. McHale has also signed the front of the jersey in black marker. During this time frame Sand Knit supplied the Celtics with their regular season jerseys. Original consignor was told at the time of the acquisition that the jersey was used during preseason training camps, which may explain the Wilson tagging. Jersey originated from the personal collection of Ed Borash, a Boston area printer that supplied the team. Mr. Borash maintained several long term relationships with many Celtics and NBA players.
