Pope John Paul II packed in quite the crowd on this 1979 original photo taken at Grant Park in Chicago. Measures 17" x 12 1/2" and includes the following notations on reverse: name/venue/year written, "Sun-Times Feb. 1980 Library" and "Sun July 31 1994" stamp, production notes and Chicago Sun-Times Archives hologram.

There is a 2" tear on the left side.
