Centerfielder Ken Landreaux spent 11 seasons in the majors with the Angels, Twins and Dodgers. During 1979, the first of his two Twins seasons and arguably his best big league campaign, Landreaux toted this Hillerich & Bradsby bat during regular season action.
Weighing 34 ounces and measuring 35 inches, the flame treated signature model ash instrument features model number S2 on the barrel. It shows signs of medium game use, a medium smattering of ball marks, the presence of stitch and bat rack marks with some handle preparation. His Twins number 44 has been written on the knob of the bat in black marker.
Grade (MEARS A8): 5 points for matching known player factory records, 2 points for medium use and 1 point for player traits (number on knob).
