1978 Ray Meyer DePaul Blue Demons NBA Hall of Fame Ring (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a ring commemorating the Basketball Hall of Fame enshrinement of longtime DePaul Blue Demons head coach Ray Meyer. Single stone centrally set amidst a red backing with "Basketball Hall of Fame" engraved around the perimeter while "1978" is engraved on the left panel above a depiction of two hoopsters along with "Meyer" engraved on the right panel along with a Hall of Fame crest. Ring is approximately a size 9 and lacks the interior engraving typically found on officially presented rings. Lack of said engraving combined with the fact the Meyer was inducted to the Hall in 1979 lead us to believe this is likely an extra made at some point following Meyer's original induction. (89R0370)
