In 1977 it wasn't as easy to get an authentic jersey. People had to jump through hoops to secure what the players wore on the diamond.

Not many had the access that the president of his fan club did. This size "L" Yount jersey was made in 1977 and given by Yount to the president of his fan club. Sand Knit was the supplier of Brewers jerseys in '77. A year later, the Brew Crew used pinstriped jerseys. There is a size "L" tag affixed in the tail. The identifiers are crafted in two-color tackle twill on this knit masterpiece.
