1977-86 Steve Carlton Philadelphia Phillies Signed Game Worn Cap (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a Philadelphia Phillies cap dating to the peak of Steve Carlton's tenure with the team circa 1977-86 during which time the Hall of Fame southpaw was thrice (1977, 1980, 1982) voted the National League Cy Young Award winner. No manufacturer tag present while Carlton's uniform number 32 is written on the underside of the brim in faded black marker along with a bolder black marker signature from Steve. Heavy wear shown with some staining to the sweatband and a tear at the reverse of the sweatband. (96X0147)
