Well, if you ever wanted a factory recorded 1977-79 Thurman Munson S44 35"- 32 oz Yankees bat that was pounded with game use on all sides, with perfect markings and a beautiful finish but just don't have the 4-5K needed to get one, this may be right up your alley. It is a pip of a gamer that was made for Munson but was used by another player who at one time wrote his uniform number on the knob. Sometime after that, someone tried to clean and remove said number and wrote over it with a bogus number 15. They should have left well enough alone as we wish we knew who this player was. What if it was Reggie? In either case, aside from the newly added number 15, it is still a real Munson gamer and may have even been used by him prior to that other player adding his number and on your wall, will look just as good. We graded it a MEARS A3 with 5 base points, 3 use points but minus 2 points for two player bat and minus 3 points for the messed with knob.
