1976 Willie McCovey Padres / Athletics Autographed H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Offered for auction in this lot is an autographed Willie McCovey professional model H&B Louisville Slugger from his 1976 campaign with the Padres and the A's. Model number K75 is stamped on the signature model barrel along with the H&B Bicentennial center brand. Willie's uniform number 44 appears on the knob though it had been blacked out and replaced by an 18. Strong example of McCovey's autograph appears on the barrel

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a round barrel and large knob. It exhibits signs of light use with a handful of ball marks found on the barrel. Handle remains uncracked.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
