Offered is a rare Rawlings Official Gulf States League Howard Green baseball which has been signed on the sweet spot by New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle. The Gulf States League was a one year (1976) only unaffiliated minor league which operated under the ubmrella of the National Association and offered players who had been released from Major League organizations an opportunity to work their way back in to organized baseball, similar to the independent leagues of today.
