Yogi Berra was a such a good influence on the Yankees pitching staffs throughout his career that it was a no-brainer to hire him in a coaching capacity once his playing days were extinguished.

This size "7 3/8" New Era Pro Model cap was donned by the Yankee favorite when he served as a coach.

Situated under the bill is Berra's familiar "8" numeral written. Moderate use is shown on the cap with consistent sweat staining on the headband. Berra signed the bill twice in silver paint pen.
