1976-82 Green Bay Packers Game Worn Pants Attributed to James Lofton (Scott Waters/MEARS LOA)

The Green Bay Packers had a true superstar in James Lofton. The eventual Hall of Famer was a Pro Bowler during most of his reign in Titletown.

These game worn pants, with the left knee pad still included, was worn by Lofton during his days in Green Bay. The labeling period on the Sand Knit made pants is 1976-82. Five numbers are blackened out in the waistline, including "80". Two or three other players may have also worn these pants.

Don Zimmerman wore "80" in 1976 and Lofton donned the number from 1978-86. It is in high probability that Lofton wore these early in his tenure.

Outstanding use is shown on the size "30" pants. The following appear in the waistline: Packers exclusivity, Sand Knit size and "I".
