Offered is an AJ Reach Official American League Joe Cronin baseball which was used during the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers on September 24, 1972 at Memorial Stadium. Ball has been signed on the sweet spot by Hall of Fame Tigers slugger Al Kaline, who picked up his 3,000th & 3,001st career hit during the game, while "3,000th Hit Game 9-24-74 Used Ball" is handwritten on the side panel below the signature.
