Offered is an Oakland Raiders road jersey dating to Ken Stabler's tenure with the team during the 1973 season, which has been signed in silver marker on the reverse numeral one by Ken.

Stabler established himself as a quality quarterback during the 1973 season. The Snake appeared in all 14 games, through 14 TD’s, first season of double digit touchdowns, and bombed 1,997 yards, just 3 short of 2,000.

Although no manufactuer’s tag is present due to cut tail, the shirt is consistent with early 1970s Sand Knit products, which were the correct supplier for the 1970s Oakland Raiders. Physical manufacturer traits of that period Sand Knit products are identified as having crew non-ribbed collar, black on white lettering and numbering, gusset armpits, and mesh style full body shell.

Although no manufacturer/size tag present (-1), jersey measures approximately 20" across the chest and 28" through the torso with number 12 sewn to the front, back and sleeves along with a "STABLER" nameplate sewn to the reverse. Heavy wear with a custom cut tail. Our consignor has provided a photo match (letter included from Davious Photo-Matched Memorabilia). MEARS A9. (82G0509)
