Every hero needs a villain. Thus, when MEGO introduced its World's Greatest Super Heroes line of 8" action figures in 1973 (released in 1974), a group of four "Super Foes" were also introduced. Three of the four villains were foes of Batman, including Penguin.

Offered here is a Type 2 Penguin. This semi-common (but very unique) action figure is original, excluding a pair of Doc Mego reproduction shoes. The clothing is slightly blemished and the jacket exhibits some frays, but the figure has held up well otherwise. D2225
